Mari and Fist of the North Star
The biggest girl (yes, even bigger than D) in the show has to be Mari. She is a gender-bending impersonation of Ken from Hokuto No Ken, or Fist of the North Star, an ultra-violent post-apocalyptic science fiction. Ken's famous thousand fist attack is used by Mari on a number of occassions. This attack is supposed to pulverise one's internal organs, and kill them in 10 seconds, thus Mari's line in Movie 2. Beyond the resemblance to Ken, Mari is a joke on the martial arts style anime, with many trademarks (such as the running on the spot) being used.
